Creedmoor Wedding Photographer | Mel and Ryan

Creedmoor is a small town just outside of Wake Forest and Durham! It reminds me of my hometown in that it feels small and everyone is so welcoming! It doesn’t feel super busy like Raleigh! Not many people know it, but Brian and I kind of got our start in Creedmoor, NC years ago! We were both just starting and Brian came across a DJ gig at one of the local bars on Main street! Long story short, that bar ended up being one of his first DJ gigs and I even got to practice and learn some different lighting techniques! I’ll share more about all of that in a later post! Being Mel and Ryan’s Creedmoor wedding photographer was really cool and brought back lots of good memories in their small town!

I’ve always heard that rain is a sign of good luck on a wedding day! Even though I know that it probably feels like the total opposite to a bride. Mel and Ryan exchanged their vows on a rainy Friday evening! I love that these guys didn’t let the rain put a damper on their energy and moods! When I arrived, the girls were putting on the finishing touches and helping Mel into her dress! Before long, everyone headed over to the South Granville Country Club for the ceremony and reception! The ceremony was sweet and full of tears! We headed onto the porch of the country club for portraits right after the ceremony! I love that the bridesmaids and groomsmen all wore black! Very classic! Mel and Ryan are such a cute and fun couple! Being back in Creedmoor, NC and sharing in their special day was amazing! Read on to learn what Mel said when asked what she was most excited about before her wedding day!

What are you most excited about on your wedding day?

The entire day! However, if I have to choose, I’d say finally saying our vows in front of family and friends!

So sweet!
