It’s been almost 5 years since our wedding day! 5 years later and our wedding photos still live on a CD! A CD that I can no longer use on my computer because it doesn’t have a disc drive! Technology is always changing and sometimes we find ourselves getting left behind if we don’t evolve with it! For the past few years, we’ve loved giving our couples USB drives! We looked at USB drives as a way of sharing all of your awesome wedding photos with you! A special place to store your photos! But last year, I heard that some of the new MacBooks may no longer include the traditional USB ports that our USBs use! It got me to thinking! The last thing that we’d ever want is for you to have wedding photos that you can no longer view because of technology!
Life is busy and hectic!
This is why we decided that we will no longer include USB drives in our wedding collections! Instead, all of our wedding collections now include an 8×8 wedding album! Right after Brian and I got married, I vowed that I was going to create a beautiful wedding album with our wedding photos! 5 years later and I still have not created that album! Crazy! But life happens! Life is busy and hectic! And although we love our photos and memories, even I have neglected to create a way of looking at our photos that doesn’t involve a computer! I don’t want that for you! I want you to have a wedding album on your coffee table! Or when you have children, on your bookshelf! An album that you can share with your family during the holidays! An album that you can cuddle up on the couch and look through years from now! An album that one day can be passed down and shared with your grandchildren and great-grandchildren!
Let us help preserve your wedding memories
We still love our USBs and you’re welcome to add one on to your collection, just as a backup and storage device! But let us help preserve your wedding memories in a beautiful and timeless way! And don’t worry, if you booked prior to the post, you will still receive a USB with your collection!
So if we booked prior to the post does one have the option to choose or will you receive both? I actually love the idea of the wedding album! And your right with the times, USBs will be a thing of the past just like floppy disc.
Hey Brittney,
That’s a great question!! I’m glad that you asked! I’ll send you a message about making the switch! And you’re so right! I haven’t seen a floppy disk in ages!! lol
