It’s no secret that Brian is a huge Commanders fan. When we found out that the Commanders would be playing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, we knew that a road trip was in order! We managed to score great seats and took the drive from North Carolina to Florida to cheer on the Commanders. Well actually, it was a little more complicated than that.

A snowstorm was scheduled to hit NC on the day that we had planned to leave. We decided to leave a day earlier in order to get ahead of the storm. We ended up driving to GA and spent the night. The next day we drove from GA or Orlando, FL. Brian and I have fallen in love with fragrances and decided to stop by La Jetée Perfumery in Orlando. This store was amazing! We smelled so many amazing perfumes but deciding on Navitus Baklava Royale for me. I love it so much. Next time we’re in Orlando, we’ll definitely make this one of our stops.

After spending time in Orlando, we drove out to Tampa, grabbed food and checked into our hotel. The next morning we grabbed brunch at 7th and Grove before strolling over to Chillbro’s for ice cream. Both were delicious! The football game was at 8 p.m., so we relaxed in the room before heading to the Buccaneers stadium. The game was so much fun. We’ve been to regular season games before but this was our first time going to a playoff game. We were surrounded by so many awesome Commanders fans. The energy was off the charts. I don’t think we’ve ever had that much fun at a game before. I could tell that Brian had a blast watching his team win at the last second of the game.
