I can’t count the number of times that I’ve heard someone ask for scissors or safety pins at a wedding! Being a wedding photographer allows me to see a lot of the moments that many people don’t at a wedding! I get to witness the bride getting into her dress and the groom hanging with his guys before the ceremony! I also get to witness all of the small bumps that happen throughout the day that go unseen by all of the guest! Sometimes the bride and groom don’t even see them! I have put together a list of items that every bride should have with her wedding day emergency kit ! You can find most of these items at your local dollar store, Walmart or my fave, Target!

Scissors – This is probably one of the biggest asked for item while the girls are getting dressed!

Safety pins

Breath mints – I suggest breath mints over gum, so that you’re not stuck chewing gum during pictures!

Tape

Hair pins

Tide To go pen – I have seen bridesmaids take makeup off of the bride’s dress moments before she got into it! This is a must have!

Sanitary products – Just in case someone needs one!

If possible, I suggest packing these items inside of your bag just in case you run into an emergency! I believe that it is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it!
