I think that it is so sweet that Tiffany and Cody are tying the knot two days before their 4th dating anniversary! These guys officially started dating on May 27th, 2014 and will say “we do” on May 25th, 2018! How cool is that! I am a huge sucker for special dates!

This past weekend, Tiffany and Cody drove down from Maryland to spend their evening with me at JC Raulston Arboretum. The Arboretum is one of my favorite locations for outdoor engagement photos in Raleigh, NC! The weather was perfect for an early March day! I love the colors that Tiffany and Cody chose to wear for their engagement portraits! Navy is my new favorite color! These two are so cute together! You can’t help but to laugh and smile the entire time that you’re with them! Read on to learn how they met back in high school as well as how Cody surprised Tiffany in New York!

How did you guys meet?

We went to high school together and had the same mutual friends. The first time we met was at the park with a group of friends junior year. We really started talking after prom our senior year. We danced a couple times at prom and went to the same after party. We spent the whole party together and really started talking after that.

The proposal

On our first trip to New York together, he asked me to marry him in Central Park. He set up a camera to record it, but acted like he was taking pictures, like me, of the scenery where we were. He set it to record, but acted like he set a timer to come take a picture with me.
