I’ve always loved Easter Sunday! When I was a kid, my parents would surprise me with an Easter basket full of candy and toys! Every year I would wish that my parents would buy me a bigger basket than the year before! Now that I have kids of my own, I just realized that we have gotten away from the idea of an Easter basket! I think I’ve only done Easter baskets one time and that was when my oldest was a baby! Brian and I definitely still enjoy letting the kids visit with the Easter bunny and we love egg hunts! I think we really love the candy in the eggs, but the eggs are fun too! But we believe that we have to teach them the true meaning behind the holiday! The real reason for Easter. And that Easter is about more than candy and bunnies, but that it’s also an opportunity to spend time with family too!

And of course, I’ll take any excuse that I can get to dress the kids up and take photos! Here are a few photos that I took of the kids at one of our favorite local wedding venues, Rand Bryan House, before heading home!
