I’ve always heard that rain is a sign of good luck on a wedding day! Of course, it doesn’t feel like good luck at the time! Kiara and Bryan didn’t let a little rain put a damper on their wedding day! North Carolina weather is one of those things that you just can’t predict! It can be December 24th and 80 degrees or May 4th and 40 degrees! In our case, it was April 7th, rainy and what felt like 20 degrees. The Hall and Gardens at Landmark is probably one of my favorite venues to be at in the case of rain and wind!
Marisa and I spent the early part of the afternoon with Kiara and her ladies as they finished getting their hair and makeup done! The guys were across the hall enjoying cigars and getting dressed for the ceremony! I believe that it’s important to document all of the details like your dress, shoes, jewelry and other special items before the ceremony! I love all of the details that Kiara chose for her special day!
The ceremony was beyond sweet to watch at the Hall and Gardens at Landmark! Bryan’s reaction to seeing Kiara for the first time on their wedding day was priceless. Even the best man shed a few tears as she walked down the aisle with her father!
After the ceremony, all of the guest headed out to cocktail hour while we spent sometime taking photographs! This is one of my favorite times of the day! I love that Kiara and Bryan along with their wedding party were willing to brave the cold and rain and head outside with us! Before long it was time for the reception to begin! Kiara and Bryan shared a fun dance as they were introduced as husband and wife for the first time. They also gave a very sweet and special dedication to Kiara’s Mother and Father. I don’t think that there were many dry eyes in the building!
We truly enjoyed spending the day with these two and are so excited to share a little bit of their special day with you! Congrats Kiara and Bryan!
