Throwback to that time that I got to photograph a gorgeous wedding in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. It doesn’t feel like it’s been years since the day that I got to hang out with Chelsea and Clay. Everything was perfect from the locations that they chose for getting dressed to their fun sparkler exit at the end of the night! These two had an amazing wedding day and I’m so glad that I got to witness it all!

Chelsea and her girls spent the morning getting ready at the Franklin Hotel (now known as Graduate Hotel) in Chapel Hill, NC. I just love how clean and well lit the space is. This hotel is literally a wedding photographers dream.

Clay and Chelsea shared a sweet first look before their ceremony at The Forest Theatre. I am a huge fan of first looks before the ceremony. It’s the perfect chance for the couple to spend time together before the day gets busy and hectic and filled with lots of family and friends.

Having a first look before the ceremony also allowed us to take photos with the wedding party! I love that they chose to take photos at the Old Well on UNC Chapel Hill’s campus.

The reception took place at the nearby Horace Williams House. This was the perfect location to spend the evening with their family and friends.
