Traveling has always been a part of our relationship! When Brian and I met 7 years ago, I barely knew him when I asked if he would go  with me and my friends to Kingsdominion in Virginia. ! Strangely enough, he said yes! Several roller coasters and random restaurants later, we officially started dating. Ever since that trip, we’ve made it our goal to always take trips together! Even if it’s only a day trip to the beach. This year for our first anniversary, I knew exactly where I wanted to go. Atlanta has a special place in my heart! It’s where we first ate chicken and waffles, where we went for Brian’s birthday during our first year of dating and where we first saw the Redskins play. Lots of awesome memories.

So when it came time to plan a mini weekend getaway for us and the girls, I knew that Atlanta would be the perfect place! We spent the weekend dolphin and whale watching at the Georgia Aquarium, eating donuts at Sublime Doughnuts and watching unlimited cartoons in the hotel. The last one was Addie’s favorite.

The girls loved visiting the Georgia Aquarium. Brian and I fell in love with the aquarium years ago and couldn’t wait to take the girls. The dolphin show was definitely special! 

 

I couldn’t resist making a stop at Ikea. I love shopping at Ikea. Raleigh really needs to get one! 

The neapolitan pizzas at Campania in Alpharetta were yummy! 

The Target stores near our home do not have these cool updated carts for kids. Addie loved riding in this one. 

These donuts from Sublime Doughnuts were delicious!
