I can’t believe that it has been an entire year since Brian and I exchanged our vows! Time has definitely flown by. Now I realize what others meant when they said that they had been married for 25 years and it didn’t seem that long. When Brian and I first met 7 years ago, we use to make jokes about how we’d grow old together and we’d place our dentures on the nightstand beside the bed. We may be a little weird for that conversation. But after our first year of marriage, I can totally see that happening! Hopefully we’ll hold on to our teeth for many years to come, but at least we have an understanding if one of us needs dentures! 🙂 To help celebrate, I wanted to write a short letter to my husband after year one!

Dear Brian,

I am so thankful to have you in my life. You are an amazing husband, father, friend and business partner. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to spend my days with. As we’ve grown together, I realize that a lot of the things that I thought were important when I was younger, really aren’t important. Just knowing that you love me and the girls means the world to me. This first year has been completely amazing and I look forward to sharing forever with you. Cheers to year one!
