Edinburgh West | JoAnna and Daniel - Greenville SC Photographers

It’s been 4 days since JoAnna and Daniel tied the knot in a beautiful garden ceremony at Edinburgh West! Their wedding day was beyond gorgeous and so much fun to photograph! I knew from our first conversation over the phone that these guys would be a joy to work with! I could tell that they were so excited about spending their life together and couldn’t wait to celebrate with their family and friends!

Daniel and JoAnna were blessed with the most perfect October weather on their wedding day! The sun was out! It felt amazing! JoAnna and her girls spent the morning getting their makeup done before driving over to the venue! Daniel and his best man spent the morning at a nearby hotel before arriving at the venue!

I am obsessed with Edinburgh West! It is an amazing venue! The ceremony space right outside of the ballroom is beautiful! The conservatory ballroom is breathtaking! I can totally see why these guys chose this venue for their wedding day!

I love that JoAnna and Daniel wrote their own vows! It was so sweet listening as they read them aloud during the ceremony! I also love that JoAnna saved a seat for her Mother on the front row! A few weeks before their wedding, Daniel reached out to let us know that JoAnna’s Mother had lost her battle with cancer! The news broke our hearts! I know the pain of losing your Mother all too well! It’s been 12 years since my Mom passed away from cancer, but I don’t think that pain ever completely goes away! Seeing a framed photo of her Mother on the front row was so sweet!

After the ceremony, everyone headed inside for cocktail hour and dinner! The newlyweds were announced into the reception and everyone enjoyed dinner and dancing for the remainder of the evening! The day went by entirely too fast! Before we knew it, it was time for JoAnna and Daniel’s exit! Everyone gathered outside for a fireworks show followed by sparklers! The newlyweds jumped into their getaway car and rode through a final exit of sparklers!

How did you two meet?

We meet at Starbucks in Houston. and then we went on our first date at a cajun restaurant called 713.

Tell us about your proposal!

Daniel surprised me on my birthday weekend. We went to dinner at Nobu and then went home to change clothes before heading to watch the Astros play in the MLB finals. Once home, the entire house of decorated, and he proposed in our living room.
