Jazmine and David have different stories of how they actually met, but there’s one thing that they both agree on. Jazmine almost missed her blessing in David! When he asked her out on a date, she almost said no but decided to go. Now the rest is history and these guys have been together ever since. Jazmine and David’s March wedding at The Hotel Concord was filled with lots of excitement and quite a few tears too! It had been months since we’d seen these guys, so Brian and I really enjoyed spending the day with them!

We started the day with the ladies at an Airbnb in Charlotte while the guys were across town at a nearby hotel getting ready! I love that the girls got their hair and makeup done prior to arriving at the Hotel Concord! Once everyone was dressed, Jazmine shared a sweet first look with her Daddy. It was so sweet witnessing his reaction to seeing her in her wedding gown for the first time. Before long it was time for the ceremony! I could tell that David as excited and nervous as he watched Jazmine walk down the aisle. By the time David was done reciting his vows, I don’t think there were many dry eyes in the room. The newlyweds shared their first kiss as husband and wife and exited the ceremony.

Everyone listened to funny and sweet stories during the speeches and toast during dinner. David danced with his Mother. Jazmine danced with her Dad. And the couple danced and laughed with their family and friends on the dance floor!

Tell us about your proposal!

David proposed while we were in New Orleans for Mardi Gras on Feb. 26. We were walking through Jackson Square and while in a somewhat secluded section of the park, David said he needed to tie his shoe and while he was down on the ground, he asked me to hold a little box for him that said “Will you marry me?”.

So sweet!
