Canopy by Hilton Wedding in Charlotte, NC

It feels like it’s been forever since we first met Niki and Greg during their engagement session back in 2019. A few weeks before Niki and Greg’s 2020 wedding, Covid-19 shut down the world! I remember talked to Niki around that time about their plans to postpone their wedding. I admired how calm she was in that moment and knew that when the time came to celebrate with these two, the wait would be totally worth it! That day finally arrived in 2021 and we couldn’t have had a better time with these two!

After a change of venue, Niki and Greg decided on the beautiful Canopy by Hilton hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina! This is such a neat and modern style hotel! Niki and Greg were both in their suites getting ready when we arrived. Niki was getting her makeup done while Greg was chatting with the guys in a nearby room. Before long it was time for the ceremony. Their outdoor ceremony was beyond sweet! I love when couples exchange personal vows that they’ve written! From listening to their vows, you can tell that these two are truly in love! The ceremony ended and everyone headed inside for cocktail hour!

A quick rain shower came through for good luck! At least that’s what the old wives tale says! Brian introduced Niki and Greg into the reception. Everyone enjoyed dinner followed by dancing! Tell us about your proposal!

The proposal was at Sammy’s Deli during a church brunch. It was a total surprise to the bride to be. We had been planning our wedding for the past few months. We were blessed to have our church family and family members there.
