I started gathering photos from my phone for a house update post, but then I realized that we’ve never officially shared the news! We’re building a house! Yayy! We are beyond excited and thankful for this journey! Here’s a little back story! Years ago, Brian and I lived right across the creek (literally) from this spot! At one point, we thought about putting a house on this land, but at the time, we decided not to! Instead we packed up our then 2 kids and bought a house about an hour away! Years later and our dream of building in this very spot is becoming a reality! To say that we’re excited would be an understatement! One day I’ll more about this land and how God has a way of setting things up way before we ever realize it! But that’s a story for another day!

Here’s a few photos that we’ve taken over the past few months! I sent my Dad the first photo a few months ago to show him our future house! He got a good laugh off of that one! We’ll have to see if our actual house looks anything like that drawing!
