I have lived in North Carolina my entire life, but this was our first visit to the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. It was actually my first time visiting Asheville, North Carolina too. I have always been fond of the mountains, but never taken the time to drive up. After planning a very fun photo shoot at the Biltmore with Ariel, I figured it would be a good time to take the girls to the mountains as well. I love to travel and I want my girls to have the same appreciation and love for travel that I do! Brian and I drove down on Saturday and spent the weekend between shopping in Charlotte on the way and having brunch at Tupelo Honey in downtown Asheville on Sunday! I can’t believe we waited so long to visit such an amazing place. I don’t want to spoil it for you, but I had to share a few photos from the house. I can only imagine how amazing it must have been for George’s family to arrive at the house back in the early 1900s.
