When school switched to virtual learning last spring, we thought for sure it was just a temporary thing! We had no idea that we’d be starting an entirely new school year with virtual learning! But here we are! Back to school 2020 edition looks totally different from anything that we’ve ever experienced before. In some ways, I love it though!

I love that we get to have our kids home and spend lots of time with them! I love the flexibility that comes with “homeschooling” that I never knew existed! For example, you can literally take an online class while sitting beside the pool or in a hotel room! How fun is that! I also love that we don’t need to do all of the normal back to school shopping for clothing! That has been great! The biggest thing that I love about this whole virtual learning thing is knowing that our kids are safe at home.

This whole Covid-19 pandemic is scary! And even before Covid-19, there were scary things happening in schools around the world. Before our schools announced their plans for the fall, I started researching homeschool programs! Let me just say, I’ve never wanted to homeschool. Never! I’ve always said that homeschooling isn’t for me. Teachers are amazing at what they do and I am not a teacher! But with the increase in numbers, I started thinking that we might just need to look into homeschooling until things get better! Thankfully, our schools came up with a plan that allows our kids to stay home while still being taught by a great team of teachers.

This year isn’t our normal school year, but it still will be amazing!
