Spending the evening hanging out in sunflowers with Chrissy was so much fun! The last time that I saw this young lady, she had just graduated from college! That was a few years ago! This time we got together just because and spent the day fighting off bees and searching for the prettiest sunflowers! Summer portraits with sunflowers is definitely a must do!

We were all a bit sad when we heard that Dix Park wouldn’t be planting sunflowers this year due to Covid-19! So when Chrissy shared that she’d found the perfect sunflower field just outside of Raleigh, I was stoked! The sunflowers were perfect! The field was a bit muddy and wet due to rain the previous day, but that didn’t ruin the beauty of the flowers. We met just before sunset and spent the next hour or so walking through the field.

Chrissy has a very sweet and fun personality! She couldn’t have chosen a better location for her portraits.
