We’re taking you to another local wedding venue for this week’s spotlight. Barclay Villa is a gorgeous mansion located about 25-30 minutes outside of Raleigh, NC. Before we ever worked a wedding at Barclay Villa, we came across this venue while planning our wedding years ago. I was browsing online for a place to host our wedding and came across Barclay. I thought it was gorgeous. Back then, they offered an option where the couple got to spend the night inside of the mansion after the wedding! I thought that sounded amazing! We ended up having our wedding at a different location, but I still admired this venue!

I love how secluded the mansion feels! It’s located out in the country near Angier, North Carolina. One of the first things that we notice about Barclay Villa as you drive up is how much the venue resembles a castle. There is a groom’s suite and a double bridal suite for getting ready before the ceremony. The ballroom is a beautiful space with two floors. The grand staircase is probably one of the main points inside of the ballroom. I really love the grounds outside as there are at least 2 pools and a gorgeous space for an outdoor ceremony.
