I really love taking portraits in downtown Raleigh! It’s quickly becoming my favorite place for photos! When Dontez mentioned that he wanted to take photos for his birthday, I knew that downtown Raleigh would be perfect! There are so many spots that work great for photos and I even discovered a cool new area in the heart of downtown! I love that Dontez chose to take his birthday photos in downtown Raleigh!

I don’t remember how I actually met Dontez, but I’ve known him for a few years now! He’s a local DJ who I’ve had the pleasure of working with and recently discovered that he attends the same Cyclebar! I’ll have to share more about my love of cycling with you guys soon!

The weather was sunny but chilly! It wasn’t too bad for a winter day in January! We started at one of my absolute favorite spots in downtown and adventured a few blocks away! It’s always fun chatting and hanging with fellow creatives!
