3 Tips for Working Moms | North Carolina Photographer

December 26, 2017

Being a Mom is a tough job! Throw in being a work at home Mom and it gets even tougher. Planning dinners, packing lunches, running errands, emails and cleaning the house. The list is seriously never ending at times! But there are some things that I’ve found super useful when it comes to getting it all done! Here are my top 3 tips for working Moms!

Find your balance

One of my close friends use to tell me that when she had her last child, she struggled to find her balance! I didn’t completely understand it! Brian and I had two kids at home and things seemed to run pretty smoothly! Then Kee came along and threw everything completely off balance! I was used to working in the office while our older kids played. I wasn’t use to having to hold and feed a baby while typing an email! I had to find my balance! I still haven’t found the magic potion but it’s getting there!

Make a schedule

I have to make a schedule! I’ve found that whenever I plan my day, things go a lot easier! I have an amazing daily planner by Corie Clark that helps but I also found some an amazing printables on Pinterest! I will write out my day to include things like breakfast, getting the kids to school, time for work, time to relax, dinner, homework, etc! Then I have printables to help me with household things such as a cleaning schedule!

Plan some “me” time

With all of the demands of life, it’s hard to forget that we need some “me” time! I know that I have the hardest time planning time for just myself, but it is a must! Put it on your calendar along with all of the other items on your to-do list and make it happen!

If you’ve found tips that have helped you maintain your sanity while being a work at home mom, I’d love to hear them! Leave them below!
