These guys make a great couple! It makes it ever sweeter that they are high school sweethearts and huge University of Miami fans! We met Zinia at a rebranding mixer that was hosted by Sabrina Seymore Events back in January! She told us how she was planning her wedding for later this year and that she would be in touch with us soon! A few weeks later, it was time to meet with Zinia and Lawrence for their Yates Mill Pond engagement session!

We had a beautiful sunny and warmer day! It was the perfect weather for an engagement portrait session in Raleigh, North Carolina! We met at Yates Mill Pond Park for part one of our portrait session! Zinia and Lawrence wore a mix of navy blue and pink! Totally love their outfit choices! We spent a little time adventuring around the park before heading over to the old Dorothea Dix campus for part two!

These guys decided to add a little fun to their session by wearing University of Miami shirts! How cute is that! Between a fun game of football to just hanging out together, it was a great day for an engagement session in Raleigh!

How did he propose?

“We were supposed to be going to a close friends house for drinks in Fayetteville. When we got there all of our family and friends were there and they had the middle of the floor cleared and he proposed in front of everyone in the middle of the living room. It was amazing! He was so nervous he couldn’t even get the box open lol!”

I never get tired of hearing about proposals! So sweet!! We can’t wait to celebrate with you guys in a few months!!
