Our little guy is officially 9 months!! OMG! Where has the time gone? Only a few more months before he will be one! I am trying to soak all of the sweet baby snuggles in while I can! I love having a little baby around the house. There’s just something so sweet about this age. Even when he’s walking around the room destroying everything that he comes in contact with! It’s amazing to look at him and see how much he has learned and grown over the past few months! A lot of people ask us how we get everything done with a little baby at home. And the truth is! I don’t! My to do list is longer than the hours in the day! I don’t think I have ended a work day lately without thinking that I didn’t finish everything!

I love having a little baby at home, but working from home with a 9 month old is a real challenge at times! We started the business when Addie was a baby, but we weren’t nearly as busy back then! Nowadays, it’s a mix of editing, social media, marketing, packaging orders and the list goes on! Just in case you’re in the same season of life as I am. Here are a couple of things that I’ve done to keep up with everything!

Prioritize

Plan as much as you can! But don’t stress if you can’t get everything done in one day! Prioritize! Prioritize! Prioritize! I have learned to prioritize my time and energy into what is most important! I’ve also learned that there will be days when Kee needs me more than usual and I’m okay with that! I am just happy that I’m able to work from home!

Ask for Help

This is one of the hardest things for me to do, but ask for help when you need it! Being a Mom isn’t easy! It’s one of the best things ever, but it can be tiring! On the days that I feel like my list goes on and on, I ask for help! Even if it’s just asking Brian to hang with the kids while I jump on the computer and work! Teamwork makes the dreamwork right?!
