We recently got to spend the day with Onya and Andrew at the Runaway Whiskey Bar in Charlotte. It’s such a cute and quaint place to have drinks in Charlotte, NC. It was the perfect place for their engagement portraits. I love that we had the whole place to ourselves! Andrew and Onya are such a sweet couple. Brian and I enjoyed chatting with them and can’t wait to celebrate their love this December!

Friday afternoon, I came home from work, as I opened the door I heard Sweet Lady by Tyrese, playing. Drew was down on 1 knee, in a suit. There were rose pedals across the floor, a bouquet of roses on the table and balloons hanging from the ceiling. On each balloon was a picture from different stages of our life together. On the wall behind him were the words “Will you marry me?” I was in literal shock! I started to turn in walk out the door, I was so surprised. But after composing myself for a second, I said yes!
