We sold our house!! That sounds crazy to say, but we did! After 5 years, we decided to sell our house on the hill (read about our search for this house).

When we moved into our first home, I don’t think either of us planned for it to be our forever home! At times, we thought it might be! The schools were great academically! Our kids had their own rooms and plenty of space to spread out and play! But looking back, I don’t think that was ever the plan! The moment that I knew we’d sell one day happened about a year or so after we moved in! We found ourselves looking at new houses and wondering if we’d stay in this area long term!

As time progressed, it became pretty clear that we wanted to sell and move on! Don’t get me wrong, we absolutely adored our first house! It was a cute little 2 story house on a hill! We’ve shared some of the best memories in that house! It’s the only house that Keegan has ever known. But we were over an hour away from family! That doesn’t sound far, but it was! Especially being that we were the total opposite direction that any of family ever traveled! We didn’t know anyone in the area! So after debating for a couple of years, we finally listed our house! We reached out to our wedding DJ turned realtor, Daniel Gluckin and made a plan! Our house was listed on Friday and under contract on Sunday! It was so much easier than I thought it would be! There were definitely some stressful times, but it was totally worth it! A few weeks later, we packed up and said goodbye to our first house!

We pray that the next family who lives there enjoys it just as much as we did! Now we wait for the next part of this journey!
