I’m not sure if it’s just the photographer in me or what, but I heart wedding details! From cute shoes to the unique cake toppers, I love it all! We have been blessed to work with some of the most amazing couples and along the way, we have seen some amazing wedding details! Check out a few of the awesome things we have seen and photographed this year!

I totally love cute shoes and the ones that Megan wore at her July 5th wedding were so cute! While her lovely bridesmaids were helping her into her dress, I grabbed this shot of her shoes! The Billingsley House in Maryland has this adorable striped sofa with a Mr & Mrs pillow! This made the perfect setting for Megan’s shiny, silver Steve Madden heels!

A couple of months ago, I got to second shoot with one of my close friends at an intimate and sweet wedding in Cary, North Carolina! The bride wore her hair in a cute bun with a sparkle clip! Love! It took less than 2 seconds to snap this photo of her hair and clip! I am a sucker for beautiful wedding day hair too!

Bouquets are so special! Before our wedding, I never knew how many choices there were for flowers! Martha did a wonderful job when she chose the following bouquet for her early spring wedding over a year ago! Paired with a cool background, this is one of my favorite photos of all times!

Cake toppers come in all shapes and sizes! Some of the more popular cake toppers include initials, bride and groom figures, and flowers! When it came to our wedding a couple weeks ago, we wanted something creative and unique! That is when I came across this idea and fell in love! We had a local shop design a lego cake topper for our wedding cake and it couldn’t have fit our wedding better!

I am a huge fan of bowties! Being that we used a lego cake topper, it was only right that Brian wore a Lego bowtie and cuff links! No matter your choice of cuff links or a bowtie, photographing the grooms details are very important!
