We had the pleasure of meeting Jenay and Jonathan last spring in Greensboro, NC. Jenay told us how Jonathan surprised her with a ring while they were vacationing in the Tennessee mountains. They were spending the day visiting the Titanic Museum when Jonathan got down on one knee and popped the big question. Of course Jenay said yes and a few weeks ago we got to spend their special day with them in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Their love filled ceremony took place at Mt. Sinai AME Zion Church and the reception followed at The Village Inn Event Center. The weather was gorgeous and Jenay wore a very sweet ball gown with just a little touch of blush pink on the tulle. Her blush pink wedges by Betsey Johnson were adorable. Jonathan looked very handsome in a gray suit from Men’s Warehouse. These guys looked amazing. So did their wedding party which was filled with family and friends! After they exchanged vows, we headed over to Tanglewood Park for photos. The rest of the evening was spent at the reception inside the hotel in Winston Salem, North Carolina. The guest enjoyed dinner and dancing. We love that Jenay and Jonathan chose to play the longest marriage dance during the reception. All of the married couples took to the floor and danced as Brian counted down the years. In the end, we were left with three beautiful couples who had all been married for more than 40 years. What a blessing! We are so blessed to have met these two and we are wishing them many years of happiness in the future.
