Top Downtown Raleigh Wedding Venues

November 2, 2017

I remember when Brian and I first got engaged! I was so excited and couldn’t wait to start planning our wedding! I went onto Google and started searching for wedding venues in Raleigh! There were so many to choose from! Searching for Raleigh wedding venues was such a broad search that we’ve decided to put together a list based more on location within the city. This week we’re sharing a list of top downtown Raleigh wedding venues with you!

The Cannon Room

The Cannon Room is a newer wedding venue located on the 12th floor of the Capital Club building! It is a gorgeous downtown Raleigh wedding venue and there are so many pretty spots for wedding photos outdoors! It can be used for your ceremony and reception!

Stockroom at 230

I’ve always been a fan of the Stockroom at 230! Located on Fayetteville street, it’s the perfect destination right in the middle of downtown Raleigh. I’ve seen lots of couples use this space for their ceremony and reception. Here’s a wedding that we photographed at the Stockroom at 230 almost two years ago!

Merrimon Wynne House

The Merrimon Wynne House is a gorgeous house that has a very rustic but modern feel in downtown Raleigh. The house is amazing but so is the separate ballroom! I may be a little bias as a photographer, but this space is so pretty for indoor and outdoor wedding photography. It’s the perfect location for an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. Or an indoor ceremony and outdoor reception.

Contemporary Art Museum

This space is better known as CAM Raleigh! It’s a really neat art museum in downtown Raleigh. The space at CAM has a very clean but fun feel. I’ve seen couples have an indoor and outdoor ceremony at this venue.

Jiddi

Jiddi is sort of a hidden wedding gem in downtown Raleigh. It’s located between Sitti and Gravy and has a pretty brick courtyard and indoor dining room. The food is amazing! One of our couples used Sitti catering and the other used Gravy!

Traine

Brian and I recently stumbled across Traine wedding venue in downtown Raleigh. We were searching for parking new Bad Daddy’s in Seaboard and noticed this cute little venue tucked into the corner! I can definitely see lots of amazing weddings happening here.

Market Hall

Market Hall is one of those wedding venues that I’ve always wanted to shoot at! It’s in the middle of the Cobblestone area and has a true rustic vibe to it! Definitely a venue worth checking out!

These are just a few of the beautiful downtown Raleigh wedding venues! Next time we will share some of our favorites that aren’t exactly in downtown Raleigh.
