Brian and I enjoyed visiting The Hotel Concord with Jazmine and David a few weeks ago. This was our first time visiting downtown Concord as well as visiting The Hotel Concord! The hotel has a classic feel and I love how it’s located in the heart of Concord. I love how small the town feels compared to neighboring Charlotte.

Funny story about when these two first met. Jazmine almost cancelled their first date! She says that she almost blocked her own blessing but something told her to go on the date. Now these two are planning their wedding and can’t wait to spend the rest of their lives together.

Jazmine looked amazing in a floor length gown. David looked dapper in a navy suit. These two make a sweet couple. You can tell that they have lots of fun together. They’ve spent the last few years adventuring the world together. When they’re not adventuring to new countries, they enjoy trying new restaurants and binge watching Netflix together. Brian and I had so much fun hanging out with these two at The Hotel Concord and can’t wait to celebrate with them next year.

Tell us about your proposal

David proposed while we were in New Orleans for Mardi Gras on Feb. 26. We were walking through Jackson Square and while in a somewhat secluded section of the park, David said he needed to tie his shoe and while he was down on the ground, he asked me to hold a little box for him that said “Will you marry me?”.
