Staying organized in our wedding business is super important! When we first started a few years ago, we didn’t have too much business as things were a little slower! We could use one of those brown folders to keep track of contracts and we were just fine! As our business has grown over the last couple of years, we realized that we needed to create a new system to keep everything organized and in one location! We needed an easy way to organize contracts and paperwork as it came in from our clients!
Meet my colorful binder from Target! During one of my Target excursions, I came across this colorful purple, pink and green binder! Then I spotted matching folders! OMG! I was in office heaven and couldn’t resist buying it! I love shopping at Target, but I tend to buy more than I initially planned to each time! I think it is that bulls-eye!
Once home, I created a folder for each of our lovely couples with some homemade name tags! Perfect! Each folder is categorized by the month in which they are having their wedding! We can store everything from contracts to any paperwork that we receive during the planning process! And it’s super easy to add or remove anything that we don’t need anymore!
I wish I would have thought of setting up one of these binders earlier! It has definitely made staying organized a lot easier! Plus on wedding day, I can simply grab the couple’s folder and feel confident that all of their important timeline and detail information is all one place!
