Fall has slowly become one of my favorite times of the year! Being that today is September 1st, it means that fall is just around the corner! There are lots of reasons why we love this time of the year, but here are our top three reasons!

Kindergarten

Addie starts kindergarten! We are so excited about her starting school. It feels like we have waited forever for this day to come! Especially being that she waited an extra year almost to start (she was born after the cut off for last year). She is excited and so are we. I would be lying if I said that we weren’t a little sad! But we’re excited to watch her grow and blossom into a little lady! Please pray for her and us! I have a feeling that there will be a few tears shed on her first day next week!

Football season

This one is probably more of Brian’s than mine, but I’m actually a little excited to watch some football! I’m not ready to give up my living room television Thursdays, Mondays and Sundays, but I’ll be okay!

Fall weather

I love fall for several reasons. Something about fall makes me want to do lots of cooking! Pies, cakes, cookies, ham, turkey, etc! I’m not sure what that is about but I have fallen in love with cooking during the fall! I also love that the weather gets a little cooler. Don’t get me wrong, I love summertime, but there is just something magical about scarves and boots!
