Saratoga Springs Wedding in Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina

They say that rain is good luck on a wedding day! So we’re guessing that storms and rain must be extra good luck! That’s exactly what Tamille and Devon experienced on their wedding day at Saratoga Springs! We always pray that it doesn’t rain on our couples day, but sometimes it does! The day that Tamille and Devon exchanged their vows, the forecast was filled with thunderstorms, rain, and tornados! Thankfully, the tornados passed us by!

This was our first time at Saratoga Springs in Mt. Pleasant! It’s a really neat venue with a country setting outside of Charlotte, NC! We spent the morning driving out to Mt. Plesant to meet Devon and Tamille! When we arrived, the bride was busy getting her hair and makeup done in the bridal suite! Devon and his groomsmen were upstairs in the groom’s suite getting ready for the day!

If there is one thing that I’ve learned it’s that you can’t predict the wedding! Especially in North Carolina! The first downpour of rain came just before the ceremony began! This wasn’t a huge deal as the guest were able to move inside of the tent for the ceremony! Devon and Tamille had hopes of having their ceremony outside under the gazebo but the wind and rain made that impossible! The tent was just as beautiful and I think it’s was the perfect spot for these two to exchange their vows!

The ceremony was simple and sweet! Devon’s facial expression when he saw Tamille for the first time was so sweet! I love that they chose to do the unity cross during the ceremony! The officiant announced them as husband and wife and they shared a fun walk out of the ceremony! Another rain storm later and we were all back inside the tent for the reception! Everyone enjoyed dinner, dancing, and cake! Tamille and Devon danced for the first time as husband and wife! We even caught a break in the weather that allowed us to go out to the lake!

We choose this venue because we felt that our friends and family would enjoy an elegant and peaceful evening.
