Rigmor House Wedding | Sophie and David

Sophie and David are married and we just loved celebrating with them! One of the things that we loved most about these two is how laid back and excited they were all at the same time! There are always hiccups on a wedding day, no matter how much planning everyone does! Sophie and her girls and David and his guys spent the morning getting dressed at the Rigmor House in Chapel Hill before heading over to St. Thomas More for the ceremony! When we arrived at the church, everyone was informed that the power was out in the sanctuary! Not only were Sophie and David totally chill about it and the ceremony went on as planned! Thankfully there was lots of beautiful natural light flowing into the sanctuary! After the ceremony, everyone headed back to the Rigmor House for cocktail hour and the reception!

There were so many sweet moments during Sophie and David’s wedding! If I had to choose just one moment to share with you, it’d definitely be when Sophie’s Dad gave a toast during dinner! Her Dad talked about being at another wedding and hearing the Dad give a long speech and then thinking how he’d never be able to speak that long at his own daughter’s wedding when the time came! Not only did Sophie’s Dad give an amazing speech, but there were lots of tears to go around too! It was so sweet listening to her Dad talk about how he first heard about Dave and meeting him for the first time! And how he knew he must of been a great guy for Sophie after her sister’s liked him!

We’re so honored to have been a witness to Sophie and David’s special day!

Tell us about your proposal!

We went to Hilton Head Island to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. One morning Dave woke me up early and insisted that I get outside to see the sunrise. We walked around the beach for a little until he got on one knee and proposed. I thought he was joking at first! We then rented bikes and had so much fun biking around the whole island and had such a fun day that I’ll never forget.
