Rand Bryan House Wedding | Lauren and Archie | Raleigh Photographers

Lauren and Archie’s destination Rand Bryan House wedding was so much fun! They call it a “destination wedding” because about a month before their big day, they ended up moving from North Carolina to Iowa! Most of their guest were also from other states including Texas and California! I think that it is amazing to know that you have family and friends who are willing to travel the world to celebrate with you!

We started the day with Lauren and her girls at a nearby rental house! They were busy with hair and makeup when we arrived which gave us time to photograph all of the details! I am seriously addicted to photographing details! When it was time for Lauren to get into her dress, everyone drove over to Rand Bryan House! I love the dress that Lauren chose for her day! It was simple, yet elegant gown from Maggi’s Bridal! I also love the customizable bridemaid’s dresses! You pretty much twist the fabric into a dress that fits your style and personality! It’s so neat!

Before the ceremony, Lauren and Archie shared a very sweet first look! I love when our couples choose to do a first look before the ceremony. It gives them time to have a moment together without lots of guest around! It’s probably about the only time that you’re alone with your soon to be husband or wife without anyone else on your wedding day!

The ceremony took place outside of the Rand Bryan House. Lauren and Archie placed handwritten notes and a bottle of wine inside of a box. They aren’t to open it until their 5 year anniversary or if times get hard between the two of them! Such a sweet thing to have! Cocktail hour included lawn games, food and drinks. The reception was full of amazing food, a popcorn machine, drinks, the cutest cakes that Lauren’s Mom and Grandmother created and lots of dancing! They even used Lauren’s parents teddy bear cake topper on one of their cakes! The couple shared their first dance to “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton! It was the perfect song for a fun and sweet first dance as husband and wife!
