He is a country guy! She is a city girl! And now their worlds have collided! I am looking forward to being their wedding photographer next May! I first met Kalithia and Dwight when they came to visit us at our downtown Raleigh studio! They told us how they met and fell in love a few years ago! I couldn’t wait for our 2 part engagement session!

Kalithia is a city girl at heart, so we decided to photograph part of their engagement photo session in downtown Raleigh on a Friday night! What better way to capture the true feel of the city than on a busy Friday night! It just so happened that Hopscotch Raleigh was in full effect on the night of our session! We met near CAM museum and adventured around downtown for a couple of hours!

I love when the sky looks dramatic as if it is about to storm! We rode the elevator to the top floor of a parking deck to capture a few cloud and sky photos!

Day 2 of our two part engagement session was photographed between Warrenton, NC and Henderson, NC! I grew up in the country, not too far from this area, but I was so not ready for parts of this session! 

I had never been this close to a cow and I have to admit, I was a little afraid!

What detail are you most excited about on your wedding day? 

The fact that I’m most excited about our wedding is the fact that we are having the wedding at our home in somewhat of an intimate setting.  Dwight, the food!

It was great hanging out with Kalithia and Dwight and we can’t wait until their May wedding next year!
