Brian and I had an amazing time in Wilmington, North Carolina last weekend! We had a chance to work with two amazing couples and lots of awesome wedding vendor friends too. Plus waking up to a beautiful view of downtown and ice cream sandwiches for breakfast wasn’t all bad either!
We spent Friday with Donnell and Tiffany at their Wilmington wedding. Their ceremony took place at the beautiful Atrium and the reception followed at 128 South. Both venues were totally amazing. Elana and her team with Elana Walker Events did an amazing job with the decor and coordination for their special day! Plus we got to meet Chris Charles from Creative Silence for the first time!
We loved our suite at Stemmerman’s Inn! We will definitely be visiting again. The view from the second floor of our suite was a lot of fun!
The Stemmerman’s Inn is next door to 128 South! Perfect location for the wedding guest and vendors after the wedding.
Wilmington has so much charm. I couldn’t leave without taking a little stroll through the area. Everyone we ran into was so nice and made our last day in Wilmington amazing!
We grabbed breakfast with the newlyweds the day after their wedding. Their hubby and wifey t-shirts with matching outfits were so cute. Congratulations to you guys!
Day two of our Wilmington trip took us to Poplar Grove Plantation with Ashleigh and Garrett. Their wedding day was beautiful and we’re so blessed to have been a part of their day! More photos to come!
We spent Sunday at the Raleigh Seafood Festival at Pullen Park in Raleigh, North Carolina. The lines were long, but so worth it! The fish and shrimp plate from Southern Flavor Fish Fry was delicious! I really need a new shrimp recipe after that!
We spent the rest of the day adventuring around Pullen Park with the girls. They always enjoy the swings and the carousel. We all went on the pedal boats for the first time too.
We spent Labor Day with family and did a little house shopping! 🙂 We pray that you enjoyed your Labor Day weekend as much as we did!
Have a great week!
