Olde Raleigh Distillery | Kellianne and Chris

We had the pleasure of meeting Kellianne and Chris a few weeks before their wedding day! From our first conversation, I knew that Chris and Kellianne were meant to be a part of the Story and Rhythm family! It’s like when you meet someone for the first time but you feel like you’ve known them for years! That’s how we felt when we talked to Chris and Kellianne! I think it’s so cool that they both grew up near my hometown! They even planned their special day in a neighboring town at Olde Raleigh Distillery! The distillery is a newer venue in the heart of Zebulon! Yes, the small town of Zebulon which is about 15-20 minutes from Raleigh!

As a child, I grew up visiting Zebulon all the time! One of my cousin’s owned a fish market in downtown Zebulon! My mom’s dry cleaner was down the street! My first and second jobs were in Zebulon! So many memories in this little town! Getting to photograph Chris and Kellianne’s brunch wedding near my hometown was special!

Chris and Kellianne’s NYE wedding was so much fun to witness! These two shared a first look just before the ceremony! The couple chose to share a toast with their guest right after they were announced husband and wife! We spent time capturing family, wedding party and couple’s portraits following the ceremony! Once all of the guest were seated in the reception space, the newlyweds danced for the first time as husband and wife! The couple’s friends and groom’s Dad gave the sweetest toast and the couple cut the cake! The remainder of the day was filled with lots of laughter and dancing!
