Photographing Stephanie and Cliff’s November wedding at the Highgrove Estate in Fuquay Varina was very sweet! There were so many sweet and priceless moments throughout their wedding day! Like when Stephanie shared a first look with her Father and Grandmother! Or when her and Cliff read their letters to each other before the ceremony! Or when Stephanie’s grandmother saw her granddaughter in her wedding dress for the first time!
Or when Stephanie and Cliff read their letters to each other before the ceremony
Stephanie and Cliff’s wedding day was beyond sweet and fun at the same time! This was my second time at the Highgrove Estate in the past 2 months and I am in love with the space! Even on a chilly November day, the outdoor ceremony space was perfect! These two couldn’t have asked for a better fall backdrop for their outdoor ceremony! The reception party was a lot of fun! Everyone danced and even enjoyed Krispy Kreme doughnuts after dinner!
The couple ended the night with a private dance together before heading outside to the sparkler exit! Read on to learn more about how these two met and how Cliff proposed!
How did you two meet?
We met through the local music scene and going to live music shows. We are both very passionate about music and event planning and originally came together as business partners. After a few months of working together, we began to fall in love.
How did he propose?
Growing up in Florida, I have always felt like New York was a world away. Visiting the city and seeing a Broadway play has always been a part of my bucket list. In 2017, Cliff helped me check it off by surprising me with a birthday trip! It was everything that I could have dreamed of. A stay by Central Park, a Broadway play, a city tour, the food, and all of my birthday surprises along the way. I could not have imagined that Cliff would have another plan in mind. We decided on one more walk through Central Park before we rushed to catch our flight home. I talked about how I could not have been any happier in that very moment (I had no idea). Cliff has such a way with words. He reminded me about our journey over the years and how amazing our life together has been. He asked me to promise that we would never stop going on adventures, that we would always make time for bucket lists – I did. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. On November 8th, 2019 I get to marry my best friend and I have never been happier.
