Johnria and Josh recently tied the knot! Their North Carolina Museum of Life and Science wedding in Durham, North Carolina was beautiful and lots of fun! We met Johnria and Josh last year when she reached out to us about her wedding! They had plans for a beautiful outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour followed by a reception inside the museum! However, you never know what mother nature has planned!

We started the day off with Josh and his groomsmen at the Holiday Inn in Durham, NC! The guys were dressed and ready for portraits when we arrived! Everyone except our groom, which is exactly what we advise our couples to do!

Josh’s brothers and best men helped him with his vest, bowtie and tuxedo coat! I love the guys choice of tan suits with malibu blue vest! 

Josh wore a tan vest and suit with a really neat blue and gold bowtie! 

We love cool socks!

After hanging out with the guys for a few, we drove over to the Hampton Inn and Suites in Durham, NC to meet with our bride and her bridesmaids! The ladies were busy getting dressed and Johnria was in the makeup chair when we arrived! Tiwa Lawrence Makeup Durham was working with Johnria to ensure that she looked absolutely flawless!

My second, Chaquana, and I spent some time photographing the bridal gown, shoes and jewelry!

It was time for Johnria to get into her wedding gown! 

The ladies helped to lace her gown before leaving the bridal suite!

We spent a few minutes before the ceremony photographing Johnria in the Museum of Life and Science! It is such a neat space!

It was a rainy, but beautiful day when Johnria and Josh tied the knot! We are so thankful to have been a part of their special day at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham, North Carolina!
