I remember telling myself that when she turns 18, I’ll only be 39! Where in the world did the last 17 years go?

We’re so blessed that we get to celebrate another birthday with our girl! Niya’s 17th birthday was exactly what she wanted! An evening ice skating with friends! It was full of emotions for me as I’m slowly realizing that she’s not a little girl anymore! She recently started driving! She has entered that phase where she’s in her room a lot more and with us in the living room a lot less! Eventually, she will move out and I’m so not ready! But for now, we’ll soak in all of these childhood moments with our girl!
