It has been an amazing year with these guys! Last summer, Craig emailed and asked if I would photograph his proposal to his girlfriend! Of course my answer was yes! It was the sweetest thing ever! Here’s their proposal in case you missed it!

Now that all of the planning was done, it was time for Craig and Tanika to jump the broom! We love these guys and couldn’t wait to spend the day with them! I had the pleasure of photographing them while Brian DJ’ed the cocktail hour and reception! We started the day at the Hyatt Place hotel where Tanika and her ladies were getting ready! My assistant, C.J met with the guys at the venue before we both headed to the ceremony location. Their ceremony took place at their church in Cary, NC! It was amazing to be a witness to their sweet ceremony! The expression and tears on Craig’s face when he saw Tanika walk down the aisle was priceless! After the ceremony, everyone headed to the NC State University Club for cocktail hour and the reception while we headed downtown Cary for portraits! I love that Craig and Tanika chose a location that they enjoy in the area! The remainder of the night was spent with dinner and dancing at the reception venue! These two shared a sweet first dance as husband and wife followed by a fun dance between Tanika and her Father! Everyone had a blast dancing to old school hip-hop and party music!

We had an amazing time celebrating with Tanika and Craig!! Congrats again guys!
