It’s been a whole year since I created my birthday bucket list and that means two things! It’s my birthday again!! I love birthdays! It also means that it’s time to share “my updated birthday bucket list” with you! This past year was amazing and I got to check off quite a few things on my list! I also missed a few that I will carry over this year!
1. Fly on an airplane
Looking back, it’s almost comical how I was so afraid of flying on an airplane! For years, I’ve let my fear of flying keep me on the ground! A few weeks after my birthday last year, I booked a trip to Miami for Brian and I! I was determined to get over my fears and fly! I even watched a few Youtube videos of people flying for the first time to get an idea of how it would be! It wasn’t nearly as scary as I thought that it would be! After flying to Miami and back, it was like OMG! What have I been doing with myself? We ended up flying to New York for work and Orlando with the kids for Disney last year! Now I’m addicted and can’t wait to get out and see more of the world!
2. Spend a day at the spa
3. Visit a new city
We visited quite a few new cities! Miami, Charleston, Boone, and Brooklyn!
4. Play on a playground
We made it our goal to take the kids to the park during the spring and summer!
5. Try a new restaurant
Brian and I are such foodies, especially when traveling! We tried so many amazing restaurants since my last birthday, but my favorites were Spice Thai(This one was so good) in NY and Fleet Landing in Charleston, SC!
6. Travel outside of the United States
7. Volunteer for a good cause
8. Have a yard sale
9. Eat ice cream for breakfast
I’ve done this quite a few times throughout the year!
10. Watch a scary movie
Does Bird Box count? If not, I’ve watched several others including the last Halloween movie! I love scary movies!
