My Morning

February 25, 2016

I would say that today has been a very crazy and chaotic morning. It started like any other morning. Woke up, saw Brian off to work, got the kids up, took the dogs out, got dressed and ready to go out the door. Then I walked into the garage and cranked the car as usual. But for some reason, the garage door would only open halfway. Not quite high enough for me to take the car out. So after trying a few more times, I finally got the door open. By this time, I had turned the ignition off. I didn’t think much of it at the time. I just knew that I didn’t want to fill the garage with toxic fumes while the door wasn’t opened. I soon realized that the car wasn’t going to crank on the next try. Or the try after that. Or the 4 tries after that! It reminded me of the saying “when it rains, it pours”. But it also made me think that maybe this was God’s way of keeping me and the kids off the highway. Who knows what is waiting when you leave your house everyday? So even though my morning has been completely crazy and a little stressful, I’m thankful (and hopeful) that the guys at East Coast Towing will help get us back on the road in the next little bit! Here’s to seeing the bright side when not so fun things happen!
