Back in August, we got to spend a few days at the Montage Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, South Carolina for Alex and Kylie’s wedding. This was our first time visiting Montage Palmetto Bluff and we instantly fell in love! It is a gorgeous resort tucked away beside the May river. We can totally see why these two chose this location for their destination wedding in South Carolina.

The couple hosted a welcome party on Thursday for all of their guest. It was a beautiful cocktail party on the lawn behind the resort. Brian played some tunes and everyone had a great time mingling and chatting before ending the night with dancing!

Friday was wedding day for Kylie and Alex. The couple exchanged vows in the Somerset Chapel right across the street from the resort. We absolutely loved all of the florals at the altar. The ceremony was so sweet. It was amazing to hear how these two met and how Alex knew that Kylie was the one a few minutes into their first conversation. After the ceremony, everyone took the shuttle over to the River House for the cocktail hour and reception. The remainder of the evening was filled with dinner and lots of really fun dancing. We had an amazing time celebrating Kylie and Alex!

When we weren’t celebrating the couple, we got to take a golf cart around the property with the kids. We got to watch alligators swimming so peacefully in party of the neighborhood. We relaxed by the pool and got to chat with some really awesome people at the resort. We can’t wait to visit again. We seriously had an amazing time.
