THE JOURNAL

Spring Maternity Portraits in Downtown Raleigh

When my first daughter was born, I said that I loved the feeling of being pregnant! Those first little kicks were enough to make me want another one! After my second pregnancy, I still loved the whole pregnancy experience! Especially the first time that you see and hold your baby after delivery! That was one of the most amazing moments that I’ve ever experienced! But when my 3rd child was born, I knew that I was done! Completely done! Not because I didn’t enjoy the little kicks or seeing my baby for the first time, but because I felt that our family was complete! And because of my delivery, but that’s a story for another day! You can read more about Keegan’s birth story!

I still believe that pregnancy is amazing and beautiful and I love celebrating it with our couples and families! I especially love when I get to be a small part of the journey! Last fall, Sheena shared with me that her family was expecting! Ahh!! So exciting! It doesn’t’ feel like it’s been that long, but I’ve spent the last few years capturing her and her family! Sheena and her family are like part of our family and I love whenever I get to see them!

Months later and I got to photograph Sheena and her adorable baby bump! Plus Little Miss T! These two are so cute! Only a few more weeks until the new addition officially joins the family! Check out a few of our faves from Sheena’s maternity session in downtown Raleigh!

It was just a few short weeks after I met with Sheena and Miss T in downtown Raleigh for her maternity portraits! […]
