It’s amazing to think that it has been over 8 years since Brian and I had our first date! Or maybe I should say lunch date because that’s more like what it was! When Brian and I met, he was busy working most nights and I was busy working during the day! Planning a date when normal folks do wasn’t the easiest due to our schedules, so he suggested we meet for lunch at Jersey Mike’s!

Jersey Mike’s of all places. Not Melting Pot that was right across the street, but Jersey Mike’s. We’re both pretty simple people! We met during my lunch break one day and really enjoyed chatting with each other! I have no idea what we talked about that day, but a few weeks later we were talking about growing old together. So I assume the conversation must have been amazing!

It’s been a long time since we’ve been to eat at Jersey Mike’s, but we’ve created lots of new memories and traditions over the years! I think we may have to go for cheesesteaks on our next anniversary!
