It’s been 2 whole years since Marie and Tommy exchanged their vows to one another and then spent the remainder of the evening dancing with family and friends! It doesn’t feel like it’s been that long! It honestly feels like it was just yesterday that I was chatting over the phone with Marie for the very first time! Since then, we’ve celebrated their engagement, graduations and anniversaries! It’s been an amazing journey for these two and we’re so excited to see what the future holds!

As a kid, my family would visit the North Carolina coast pretty often! My Dad loves fishing and spent a lot of time on the coast when I was young! That might be one of the reasons why I love being near water so much now! Visiting Kure Beach has sort of become a family tradition! One of the trips that I remember from my childhood includes visiting Kure Beach with my parents! My Dad had a friend who had a camper and was set up near Kure Beach for a few days! We drove down to see him and hung out in his RV near the beach! I don’t know why that memory has stuck with me all these years, but it has!

When Marie reached out about taking photos on the beach, I knew the perfect spot! I love that Kure Beach is typically quiet and peaceful! There usually aren’t a lot of people hanging out on this stretch of beach! The weather was cloudy but perfect for outdoor photos. These two are always great in front of the camera! It was so much fun hanging out on the beach with Marie and Tommy!
