We are always bragging about how we have the best couples and that is definitely true when it comes to Sarah and Heather! Back in August, we had the pleasure of working with them on their Jiddi Space wedding in downtown Raleigh, NC. After months of planning, the day had finally arrived. Jiddi is sort of a hidden space. It’s located between Sitti and Gravy in downtown Raleigh!
Sarah and Heather visited the salon earlier in the day and were lounging with their bridesmaids when we arrived. I love that they had a huge suite to share throughout the day. However they had a private space to put on their dresses. Both ladies had chosen beautiful gowns from 2 local bridal shops. Once they were both dressed, we headed outside for their first look. Even though they spent majority of the day together, they had never seen each other in their dresses. After a very sweet first look, everyone headed over to Sitti, also known as Jiddi, to prepare for the ceremony. I’ve always heard that rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck. Just before we left the hotel, it started pouring. We were a little worried as they had planned an outdoor ceremony, but the clouds gave way to a beautiful sunny sky.
Sarah and Heather’s ceremony was beyond sweet and intimate with their closest friends and family. It was very sweet how Heather’s Dad walked both of the brides down the aisle. After the ceremony, we headed over to Moore’s Square with the brides for formal portraits.
Once back at their wedding venue, Sitti, everyone spent the evening enjoying dinner and dancing before an epic game of Thunderstruck. This was our first time witnessing this game and it was beyond a blast to watch! We are so excited for Sarah and Heather and can’t see what the future holds for these two.
