It’s always a fun time when I get to hang out with the Patton family! It’s hard to believe that it’s been 3 years since our last session together! Their little ones have grown so much over the past 3 years! This year, we decided to visit Yates Mill Pond Park for their holiday family photos! Yates Mill is a beautiful location for outdoor family portraits in the Raleigh area! It’s funny that I only seem to visit this location during the fall and winter months! I’m not sure why that is, but it’s always been one of my favorite locations for photos in Raleigh!

The weather was perfect for an early December day! North Carolina has the craziest weather and you really never know what to expect! It can go from sunny and 75 degrees to snowing and 25 degrees overnight! We were thankful for mild weather on the day that we met! The Patton’s are always a pleasure to photograph! I love that they don’t mind having fun and being silly in front of the camera! And I really love their mix of red, black and cream outfits this year! Red always puts me in the holiday mood!
