Every now and then I get a chance to assist one of my local photographer friends on their wedding! This time I got to hang out with Ariel Perry at Jasmine and David’s gorgeous Raleigh wedding. Their glam wedding at Renaissance Hotel at North Hills in Raleigh, NC was simply beautiful. We started the day with Jasmine and her ladies inside of the bridal suite. When we arrived, the bride was busy having her hair and makeup done. Before long, it was time for her to get into her custom bridal gown in preparation for the ceremony.

The groom was a few floors below getting dressed with his groomsmen. All of the guys wore the cutest suede loafers and black suits. Once the bride and groom were dressed, they separately headed over to a nearby courtyard for their first look. I absolutely love when couples do a first look prior to the ceremony. We spent some time photographing the couple before heading back to the hotel to prepare for the ceremony.

The ceremony space had been beautifully decorated by Creative Touch Events and looked stunning! Lots of white drapery, chandeliers and bling. The ceremony was simple and sweet with lots of personal touches. After the ceremony, the guest headed up to the second floor for the cocktail hour before coming back into a completely transformed reception space. Cake Couture designed a gorgeous 5 tier white, purple and gold wedding cake. I adore all of the details that Demetris and his team completed for the reception. The rest of the evening was spent with the couple and guest enjoying dinner and dancing.

It was great meeting and working with these guys and I’m so glad to have been a part of their special day at the Renaissance Hotel at North Hills.
