I truly enjoy every time that I get to hang out with Jackie and Anthony! When Jackie shared with me that they wanted to take portraits of their son with his grandparents, I was beyond excited! As a North Carolina photographer, I believe that family portraits are just as important as wedding portraits! I believe that one of the best ways to always remember your family during each stage of life is through photographs! I think we often forget how important generation family portraits are! I would love to have photos of my Grandma and myself. Or be able to share photos of our children and their grandparents together years from now!

I love that Jackie and Anthony take time to document their lives along the way! Plus Little JT is beyond adorable and I’ll take every chance that I get to see his sweet little face! On the day of their session, we met at Shelley Lake in Raleigh. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to this park, but it ended up being the perfect location. We found the perfect, quiet spot to setup for their family portraits. I really like the old trees in the background. There’s so much character in them! Thank God that the rain held off just long enough!
